Pacom’s CIP3 System synchronizes the color and file data produced by the prepress system to the presses that will handle the printing. This ensures that the planned print job is accurately transferred onto paper for a final product that is faithful to the original design.

Within the production facilities, Pacom has installed standardized light sources to maintain an optimal printing environment regarding temperature and light levels. Other equipment, such as pile turners for quickly inverting print sheet alignment, has been brought in to ensure an accurate end product.

In order to accurately convey the color data created by the GMG Solution System during prepress, Pacom has installed Color Pilot and Access Control devices within their printing machines. In addition, color bar calibrators and image control systems are used to ensure the consistency of color from start to finish.

Pacom is working on receiving the American G7 certification and the European PSO certification to prove that Pacom’s printing system is up to internationally established standards. G7 and PSO are certifications which outline printing processes and set the baseline for print color standardization (ISO 12647-2), and serve to show that the certified company meets a set of standards that are seen as effective across the globe.
