Print On Demand (POD) is a process in which a project is printed using non-traditional printing equipment, while maintaining the high print quality often associated with traditional printing presses. POD equipment is less costly to setup compared to traditional offset or web presses, which allows us to fix the costs per copy regardless of how small the order quantity is.
Thus, we recommend the use of POD for projects which have small print runs.
One other advantage of POD is flexibility.
Technical setup of POD can be much quicker than the setup for offset printing, and reflecting changes tends to happen much quicker in POD setups. That is another advantage of POD that you should take into consideration when thinking about your project.
