The Frankfurt Book Fair (Buchmesse) is the largest and most influential book fair in the world, bringing in industry members from across the globe.
Publishers, rights agencies, and printers alike all gather in Frankfurt, Germany, to showcase their books and other print products.

At the Buchmesse, we witnessed firsthand how printed content and digital media are coming together to present new formats and ideas.
It allowed the participants to take a look at what we do from an outsider's perspective, and highlighted the importance of understanding and communicating with clients, whether they be current or potential.
Throughout the course of the fair, all members spanned across the locale and conversed with many other participating companies, ascertaining specific needs and gaining greater understanding of industry-wide trends.

The experience of the Buchmesse reinforced the notion that PACOM needs to work harder on developing its own brand and content.
Furthermore, meeting clients in person highlighted the importance of sustained communication for continuing relationships.
These lessons will serve us well as we move into the future.
