“Bon Voyage, Mes Amis”
Issue 47: 2022. 2. 11. – “Bon Voyage, Mes Amis”
Dear all,
Greetings from PACOM! January is now behind us and we are truly into the "Year of the Tiger." We've had a couple of snowstorms, another set of guests (really!), the Lunar New Year has passed, and we're seeing that the way to avoid COVID cases is to stop testing altogether--clearly, us as businesses can afford to learn a lot from the NFL (I say this half-sarcastically).
A bit light on the news this update. Let's get to it!
Visitors, Part Deux
Following up the visit mentioned previously, at the end of January, we had our partners from France visit us! After their visit in October last year, things were a lot smoother this time around (although they did spend one night at a government-mandated hotel for quarantine purposes), and the work done at the PACOM facility was finished ahead of schedule!
We are scheduled to have our French partners back in Korea in March and April, and we always look forward to working together with them as well as having pleasant conversations about our respective countries (many discussion were had about the housing costs of Korea, as an aside)! Bon voyage, mes amis!
A Forgotten Item
Those of you who have seen these updates for a while will remember that PACOM was getting into the disposable mask business about a year ago. It has been a while since we've plugged the product, but it still exists and is still on sale! While we understand that not every place is as fanatical about masks as Korea is, do note that the product isn't purely meant for pandemic reasons--they still work perfectly fine for any occasion where masks are required!
Should you be interested in a shipment, do let me know and we'll get back to you!
A makeover
In the next month or so, we will be renovating the PACOM website, pacomprinting.com. Stay tuned!
That's all for this edition of PACOM Update. Until next time, stay safe out there!
Best regards,
Yu Bum Kim
